Last night, the Turks and Brits got together here and had an impromptu street party, using the end of ramazan as an excuse for a good knees up. Tables were setup along one side of the road and BBQs on the other side.
We took our
meat, drinks etc. along and joined in. Towards the end of the evening, the more
musically gifted of the Turks produced instruments and proceeded to give us some
unexpected entertainment. It carried on into the early hours, but we left around
midnight. Must be getting old eh?
