Sea Temperature

Oh, that's much better
A sea temperature of nearly 80'F is just right for swimming.
We spent an hour in the sea today, and, believe it or not, there was hardly anyone else around. It's Ramazan for a month as from yesterday, and many of our Turkish neighbours are staying out of the heat of the sun  because of the fast (no food or water can pass the lips during daylight hours). Also, if they were to swim or shower during the day, water might accidentally pass their lips and for the devout this would be enough to have broken their fast, which for them would be unthinkable.
The town was much quieter too. We are told that many of the holidaymakers return to their own towns and mosques during Ramazan.
